Of course, a lot what you learn on the race track is not suitable for the road, but skills like reading the road, observing other drivers, and braking and gearchange skills can stand you in good stead. WEEKEND RIDING One of the many activities that you can do when you have passed your test is go riding on a weekend. Weekends are popular because for most people it is the time they are free from work; sundays are specifically popular riding days. Some ideas are getting together with friends, going out with your partner or even forming or joining a bikers club. You could go on a tour of the coast, or retreat to the back roads and beauties of the countryside, or even just go out for the thrill of the ride.
