
The starting point for learners is the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course, which was introduced in 1990 to help reduce the very high accident rate among inexperienced motorcyclists.
For learners under the age of 21 lessons are taken on a 125cc machine.
If you are over 21, you can take Direct Access lessons on a 500cc bike.
You must pass a theory test before taking your practical test. We can help you prepare for this with a range of books and interactive DVDs.

The road riding part of the test - you must have passed Module 1 before taking Module 2.
All courses include the use of the machine, insurance, radios, helmets, gloves and high viz equipment.
For practical lessons you can choose either to pay as you go, or purchase a block of lessons.
